This course is specifically designed for artists, who have a strong interest in lifelike portrait sculpture. This intense sculptural workshop is open to all levels. The workshop allows you to work with the human portrait and to study it closely. You will learn how to establish facial expressions and the anatomy of the head.

- Study accuracy and likness of the model.
- Anatomy and structure of the human head.
- Establish accurate gesture and proportion
- how to turn linear decisions in Volumetric forms and model the surface.
Regular demonstrations and individual reviews take the artists through basic and advanced concepts of portrait, light and form. Also on anatomical and proportional conditions value is placed. A visual understanding of analyzing depth and understanding contour movements in space are in the foreground.
Particular attention is paid to the development of a structured thinking process for the deconstruction of visual information and the creation of a methodological approach to the accurate implementation of anatomical information placed in clay.
In this way, the students are led through a comprehensive engagement with the human form and equipped with knowledge to create an accurate and convincing portrait.
